The Catholic Peace Fellowship will host host Brother Emilé and Brother John from Taizé for a meal, presentation and prayer Unity and Peace at Saint Matthew Cathedral (1701 Miami St. South Bend, IN) on the evening of Wednesday, 12 October 2016. Following the 5:30 p.m.: Mass at Saint Matthew’s Cathedral all are welcome to join the parish for it’s monthly potluck supper beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the School Cafeteria and Gymnasium. The Brothers will offer a general overview of the Taizé Community in France and share details about their upcoming Taizé pilgrimage of trust to St. Louis in May 2017 about which the Catholic Peace Fellowship is offering counsel and at which the CPF will offer a workshop. The evening will conclude with a Taizé prayer for Unity and Peace in the Cathedral.
This event is co-hosted by St. Matthew Cathedral Parish, the Catholic Peace Fellowship and the Office for Ecumenical and Interreligious Relations of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend.
