Pursuing the Spiritual Roots of Protest, 1964-2014

Along with the Thomas Merton Center at Bellarmine University and International Thomas Merton Society, the Catholic Peace Fellowship is co-sponsoring an event recalling the 1964 Peacemakers Retreat that Merton hosted at Gethsemani Abbey (a retreat which gave rise to the formation of the Catholic Peace Fellowship). The event – entitled Pursuing the Spiritual Roots of Protest, 1964-2014 – will take place on October 24 -25 at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. A program for the weekend, which will feature remarks by CPF co-founders,  Jim Forest and Tom Cornell – and more information on how to register for the event can be found by following the link: http://merton.org/roots/.
