CPF Glad TithingsPrintable Version

This Lent, keep in mind that the three traditional pillars of Lenten observance are prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. By giving alms to the Catholic Peace Fellowship, you will be directly participating in our work of helping young men and women who have decided that they no longer want to kill get out of the military.

We would like to invite you to consider tithing to CPF through our secure website. We want people to see the work of CPF, not as something that the staff does, but as something we all do. By contributing your money, your prayers, and your time to CPF, you will become a member of CPF and begin to promote life in a very concrete way.

Contributing $20 a month to CPF not only will pay to host our website, which provides a wealth of information on Church teaching on conscientious objection and relevant news, but also will contribute to our phone and internet bills, through which we communicate with the world!

Contributing $50 a month will pay for an entire day each month that our GI Rights counselor can spend on the phone with soldiers who are looking to get out of the military. Mike, our GI Rights counselor, assists soldiers with their conscientious objection applications and gives them accurate, up-to-date information about military regulations.

Contributing $100 a month will pay for Mike to counsel soldiers two days out of every month!

For those of you who are not quite ready to tithe in this manner, you can still make a donation online or by sending a check or cash to us at P.O. Box 4232, South Bend, IN, 46634. All donations to CPF are tax deductible.

Thank you for contributing your money, your prayers, and your time to CPF. You are truly participating in the Body of Christ.
